Recently, my lovely daughter asked me to paint a Chakra picture for her. Of course, I immediately had an idea in my head of what I would create for her. I also wanted to phrase the I am statements in a way that represents my kiddo's spirit. All of these things together brought about my interpretation of her Chakra. One of my favorite things is finding ways to turn ordinary objects into art. This canvas is made out of paint stir sticks. It never actually made it into the store, because as soon as it was posted on ElephantBack Arts Facebook page, it was sold. What an awesome feeling to know that something that was so much fun is to make is bringing someone else joy! Once you realize that art exists in all things around you, you will see beauty everywhere.
