As Father's Day approaches, the first Father's Day without my dad being here, I find myself gravitating toward the gifts my father bestowed upon me. Not just the physical gifts, but all the wonderful life lessons he taught me. I get my love of rocks from my dad. Growing up, both of my parents worked in agriculture, that meant we didn't have a lot of money. My dad supplemented our monthly groceries by hunting and fishing which meant he would be away from home some weekends.
